Global EVP
Specialists in developing best practice Global EVPs
A Global Employee Value Proposition (EVP) is at the heart of how a multinational company attracts, engages, and retains top talent. It balances the complexities of diverse cultures, roles, and locations while distilling these differences into a clear, compelling, and unifying promise. A strong global EVP connects the People Strategy, customer brand promise, and the culture and values, while aligning with the business strategy and KPIs to drive growth and effective execution.
What are the benefits and impact of a global EVP?
A global EVP helps you build a global reputation as an employer and attract top talent in each of your markets. It acts as the compass for developing a competitive, differentiated employer brand, to appeal to the right candidates who will be a strong cultural fit, with the qualities and skills to support your growth. It also drives a consistent, authentic and unique employee experience that boosts engagement, improves retention, and shapes both culture and performance.
How do you create an EVP that attracts the right talent and resonates with employees?
We use an array of creative approaches to truly understand the lived reality of employees, and to unearth the vision and ambition of leaders. Using a mix of live and virtual hacks, workshops and listening groups we unearth important truths and powerful insights. We support this with quantitative data analysis of employee engagement surveys, NPS scores, DEI and employer brand metrics, and market trends. Our research provides us with the insights required to create an EVP that is authentic to who you are now and who you want to become, relevant to your target audiences and differentiated from competitors.
How do you tailor an EVP for a global workforce while keeping it consistent?
Talent isn’t one-size-fits-all; different roles, functions, and geographies require tailored messages and propositions. Intelligent segmentation and employee personas are key to understanding each talent group’s needs and drivers, ensuring your messaging is effective and precisely targeted, whilst laddering up to an overarching promise for consistency.
How can you ensure your EVP reflects the business and delivers success?
EVPs can be ineffective because they don’t reflect reality, or they either over or under promise. We road-test draft propositions and messaging in employee focus groups to generate honest feedback and responses from a range of employees. We’ll then iterate and refine the proposition to ensure that it stays true to the employee experience, and captures the expectations placed on people to deliver the growth ambition and vision.
How do you ensure an EVP is integrated and adopted across the business?
An EVP needs to be embedded into the everyday culture and across key touchpoints of the employee experience. After mapping the candidate and employee journeys, we help you integrate the EVP into hallmark moments of the experience such as recruitment, onboarding, L&D, reward & recognition, processes and policies, internal communications.
How can you best measure the success of an EVP?
It’s important to develop metrics that evaluate and track the impact and effectiveness of an EVP. We focus on outcomes not outputs, and take a holistic approach that connects the inside of the business with the outside. We utilise clients’ existing data and dashboards and identify the key metrics of specific KPIs for EVPs.
How do you communicate your EVP effectively to candidates and employees?
Capturing both the heads and hearts of candidates and employees is the aim of effective communication and engagement. This needs compelling and tailored stories that resonate deeply - externally through employer branding narratives and branded content such as video and photography, and internally through toolkits that provide guidance and resources for launching and embedding the EVP within all teams.
How can we assess if our employer brand truly reflects our EVP and resonates with the right talent?
Assessing brand perception and brand appeal is essential to understanding how your business’s culture and employee experience is understood by prospects and candidates. We analyse employer brand sentiment, candidate feedback and employee survey data to pinpoint alignment gaps and fine-tune messaging to ensure your employer brand promise resonates authentically with the right talent.
